We are seeking a Lead Patient Care Tech - Days for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high-quality, efficient care. As a Lead Patient Care Tech, you'll be an integral part of the nursing team, delivering compassionate care that impacts patients' lives every day. You'll provide hands-on patient care, assist with advanced procedures, and help guide and mentor and support the growth of new and experienced patient care tech staff. Your responsibilities will include: Perform all duties associated with Patient Care Tech job description Assist in the hiring process by participating in the peer interview process Develop orientation manual and assist with orientation of new personnel Serve as a positive role model and resource for peers Meet with new hire PCT's at hospital-wide orientation. Precepts all new PCTs to ensure unit expectations and standards are known and followed Ensures new processes, equipment, policies/procedures, etc. are communicated to PCTs promptly Leads by example as reflected in positive feedback from patients and staff Qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date CNA, LNA, or EMT/Military Medic training preferred 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting or as a military medic preferred 1+ years of experience at an HCA facility preferred If you find this opportunity compelling, we encourage you to apply for our Lead Patient Care Tech - Days opening.
