As a member of the Drinking Water team, the Sr. Product Manager is responsible for driving the development & execution of the drinking water roadmap across NPD and Sustaining project workflows. They will collaborate with a cross-functional team to drive revenue and profitability goals within the drinking water category. This position will reside in Downers Grove, IL, with up to 50% travel, depending on product activities. Key Accountabilities Develop strategic product roadmap for the drinking water category in collaboration with the product management team. Gather and develop product ideas from competitive benchmarking, VOC, and feedback from the commercial & REP network. Identify and execute product development projects and business initiatives supporting the strategic plan and business roadmap, overseeing the process from definition to delivery. Define success criteria and product requirement specifications for projects. Partner with marketing and sales to create training programs for customers, REPs, and employees. Manage analytics, competitive intelligence, and pricing dashboards to ensure proper market positioning and trend identification. Engage with Sales through participation in customer shows and visits. Lead annual improvement priorities (AIPs), ensuring successful execution to meet business objectives. Advocate for and become an expert on the product, including part numbers, customer requirements, and competitive positioning. Promote continuous improvement and utilize ZEBS for process development and problem-solving activities.
Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing; MBA preferred. 7+ years of product management experience, preferably with water management or plumbing products. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and customers. Experience analyzing data for decision-making and process improvement.
Salary range: $115,000 - $160,000, based on experience and other factors.
