Key Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging procedures for approximately 70 examinations daily Operate Siemens CT equipment (Definition AS and Drive) in a 2 camera department Provide imaging services for adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings Perform CT examinations for Level I and Level II trauma cases Utilize 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), and region of interest measurement (ROI) for image processing Conduct various CT studies including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, musculoskeletal, and vascular imaging Prepare and administer contrast media as required Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when necessary Maintain radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions Document patient information and procedures using Epic charting system Utilize PACS (Visage) for image management and storage Work 12-hour shifts (08:00 - 20:30) on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Participate in call rotation requirements (1-2 weeks during assignment) Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) Maintain current ARRT certification and BLS certification Complete required orientation and annual training modules Adhere to fatigue policy (no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week) Follow facility dress code requirements (royal blue scrubs) Float to other units or affiliate hospitals based on census and facility needs Provide patient care services for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics Comply with facility policies and procedures for patient safety and care delivery Job Requirements: Active, unencumbered license in NC Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable) Other Required Documentation: Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format) Two current clinical references State-required professional license Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months) TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months) Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted) Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations Must pass background check and drug screening Why Choose VitalHire: A modern, mobile-first platform built for how you want to work Clear, upfront pay rates - no surprises Book contracts and shifts on your schedule, 24/7 Maximize your take-home with top tier, tax-free housing & travel stipends Contract extension bonuses Referral rewards Optional retirement benefits One quick setup of your profile gives you immediate access to all job details, facilities, and complete control of your work-life balance.
