The Planet Group is looking for a Product Manager to work with our retail client. This is a one-year contract hybrid opportunity in San Francisco!

Product Manager Responsibilities : Define product vision and lead the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day management of feature work to evolve customer experiences related to promotions and samples. Define customer experience and business goals for new features and improvements. Collaborate with marketing team to evaluate, prioritize and build new features and tools to optimize the customer lifecycle. Gather input from both internal and external stakeholders, and craft a prioritized roadmap. Own products from concept to launch (analyze customer data, competitors and market trends, evaluate technologies and develop detailed requirements, and manage product launch). Develop compelling presentations and prototypes to communicate your product story. Champion the needs of the stakeholders throughout the product development process; ensure what is delivered meets the original business objectives. Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, designers, and business owners) to drive the launch of the product.

Product Manager Qualifications: 3+ years Product Management experience working with an e-commerce, transaction-based and/or retail brand launching customer-facing digital products on web, tablet and mobile. Experience managing multiple product launches from concept to launch. Expert in agile development process, managing Sprints and utilizing Jira to track features, enhancements, bugs, user stories in JIRA, and acceptance criteria. Solid understanding of core Internet technologies, PaaS, APIs, and Web Services. Experience developing, testing, and launching both customer-facing features and enabling technologies. Effective presentation skills with executives and large audiences. Knowledge of software development processes and tools. Demonstrated success partnering with business, technical and design teams. Strong analytical skills and a drive to experiment; have supporting examples of using metrics in all aspects of the product lifecycle. Bachelors Degree; MBA a plus.
