Job Description
Our Cleaning Technician is a vital member of our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our clients' homes and properties. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering exceptional results. This role requires professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a comprehensive range of cleaning tasks for our residential and rental property clients, ensuring homes are maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities will vary based on the specific service provided (e.g., standard clean, deep clean, move-in/move-out turnover). Key duties include:
- General Cleaning: Execute all core cleaning duties such as dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets and rugs, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning interior windows.
- Kitchens: Thoroughly clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, stovetops, and the exterior of appliances. Perform deep cleaning of interiors (ovens, refrigerators) as requested.
- Bathrooms: Clean and disinfect all bathroom surfaces, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, and mirrors, ensuring a hygienic environment.
- Rental Turnovers: Prepare rental properties and vacation homes for new tenants or guests, involving detailed cleaning to ensure the space is immaculate and welcoming.
- Complete Checklist: Adapt to specific client needs and requests, following checklists for maintenance, deep cleaning, post-construction, or other specialized residential services.
- Supply Management: Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any needs to your supervisor.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure all tasks have been completed to company standards and client satisfaction.
- Communication: Professionally communicate with clients on-site when necessary and report any property damage or maintenance concerns to management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Previous professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Attention to Detail: Must have a keen eye for detail to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work the assigned schedule consistently.
- Work Ethic: Strong sense of responsibility and pride in one's work.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25-50 lbs.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Integrity: Must be trustworthy and able to work with integrity, especially when working in client properties.
- Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from worksites.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Work Environment
This position involves working in various property settings, such as homes, short term rentals, second home, or office spaces. The work is physically demanding and requires being on your feet for the majority of the shift.
