Construction Estimator
to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a critical role in the pre-construction process by coordinating the bidding process, preparing proposals, and delivering precise cost estimates for custom residential projects. Develop preliminary cost estimates and establish budget expectations during the pre-construction phase Collaborate with the Vice President of Architecture to align design features with client budgetary goals Maintain and analyze project cost data to enhance estimation accuracy Manage the competitive bidding process, including soliciting and reviewing subcontractor and vendor quotes for accuracy and fairness Oversee subcontractor and vendor negotiations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value engineering to meet budgetary and profitability objectives Prepare and present detailed project proposals through the company’s online project management system, ensuring internal approvals from executive leadership Engage in follow-up discussions with clients to clarify proposals, answer questions, and refine pricing to support contract execution Partner with the Vice Presidents of Construction and Operations to cultivate strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors Lead project purchasing activities, ensuring alignment with quality, scheduling, and profitability targets Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of high-end residential projects What We’re Looking For:
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a sharp attention to detail Minimum 3 years of experience
in construction estimating or construction management (custom residential experience preferred) Knowledge of construction cost accounting, risk analysis, research methodologies, and estimation metrics Exceptional time management, project management, and communication skills Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools is a plus Compensation & Benefits:
