Located in the heart of downtown Naperville, Ramsay’s Kitchen offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience inspired by Michelin-starred Chef Gordon Ramsay. Guests enjoy iconic dishes like Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding, as well as seasonal favorites with a local twist. We are seeking an experienced, well-rounded, and hands-on General Manager to lead our team. The General Manager will be responsible for delivering the Gordon Ramsay standard of remarkable experiences and exceptional hospitality. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a passion for service. The General Manager oversees the entire restaurant team, delegates assignments, drives the guest experience, and ensures operational excellence while achieving budgetary profit margins. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the operational leader of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and upholding Gordon Ramsay’s world-class hospitality standards.
Oversee all front- and back-of-house operations, ensuring smooth daily execution and consistency across service.
Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
Monitor and manage financial performance, including P&L, labor, and cost controls, to meet or exceed budgetary goals.
Drive sales and revenue growth through innovative service strategies and strong guest engagement.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food safety regulations.
Maintain effective communication with staff, leadership, and other departments to achieve alignment and success.
Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate daily priorities, and inspire the team to deliver best-in-class service.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in a high-volume, premium casual or fine dining restaurant.
Proven success in managing large teams and complex operations with strong results.
Strong understanding of guest service excellence and hospitality culture.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Financial acumen with a track record of managing budgets, labor, and cost controls.
Hands-on leader with the ability to motivate, mentor, and hold teams accountable.
Passion for the restaurant industry and Gordon Ramsay’s brand values.
