Job Description

Develop comprehensive preliminary electrical designs to support design/build projects across multiple project types. Design and specify electrical power systems, including load calculations, one-line diagrams, equipment sizing and selection, equipment layouts, lighting photometric analyses, and system controls. Provide direction for electrical design on projects and collaborate with a nationwide network of design consultants to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct arc flash and coordination studies using SKM PowerTools. Work closely with the team to procure building switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and other electrical components directly from suppliers. Play a key role in delivering turnkey power solutions for clients, including supporting business development activities by identifying solutions to complex challenges. Perform value engineering reviews and propose alternative design options to optimize cost efficiency and improve project execution. Serve as the electrical subject matter expert, interfacing with clients, contractors, and vendors on technical matters. Demonstrate integrity and professionalism while supporting company values, maintaining strong relationships, and consistently meeting or exceeding client expectations. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. 7–20 years of experience in electrical engineering and/or electrical design. Proficiency with BIM tools preferred, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Familiarity with electrical engineering software such as ETAP and SKM.
