Job Description Salary: OPENING FOR SUMMER INTERN MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI) seeks a student intern to join its fast-paced, innovative business. DTI is an international leader in the design and manufacture of high-power electrical equipment. Our exceptional engineers and scientists collaborate to develop the worlds most powerful radar transmitters, pulsed power units for state-of-the-art processing in food, energy and wastewater, and advanced R&D for national laboratories. Term: Summer 2026
Responsibilities: Support DTI engineers, scientists and technicians Assist in developing new designs and production documents (drawings, test plans, etc.) Mechanical assembly and light fabrication, occasionally with power tools Assist with fabrication, assembly of systems Support subsystem testing and results documentation
Requirements: Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering degree program as a Junior or Senior Basic knowledge in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and sketches Demonstrable analytical skills and hands-on aptitude Good written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel and Word required Ability to interact with scientists, engineers, draftsmen, and technicians U.S. Citizen
Other: Knowledge of SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD a plus
