Job Description Carthage College, located on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan in Kenosha, WI, is seeking a mental health professional to join the Health & Counseling Center (HCC). This is a full-time, 11-month position (with 4 weeks in summer off) that includes vacation as well as health insurance and retirement benefits. The person in this position will perform a range of counseling services for the college's undergraduate student population, including assessments, initial consultations, personal counseling, and crisis intervention and

referral/coordination

of care when needed. HCC staff also collaborate

interdepartmentally

to meet best practices in preventative care and mental health promotion, including providing outreach services and consultations as needed. One of the primary operations of the HCC is to address students presenting mental health issues and help students function at an optimal level, so they can reach their academic goals at Carthage.
