Job Description: This is a full-time, technically oriented-professional exempt position. A senior project manager in this position will be responsible for leading team(s) to deliver project(s) that span across multiple software solutions in the ELLKAY product suite to support our growing Health Care Delivery customer base.

This includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Sr. Project Manager – EMR Migrations has the authority to run each project on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for establishing and cultivating a positive working relationship with each customer from an Operations perspective. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee the successful implementation of ELLKAY’s most complex EMR Migration and Data Archiving Solutions in the ELLKAY product suite. Provide leadership for the project team by coaching, mentoring and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones. Work with customers to develop a comprehensive data migration strategy including goals, extraction plans and validation of migrated data. Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure overall success of the customer implementation. Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one or more initiatives simultaneously. Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chair the regular project status update meetings with the customer. Create and follow prescribed policies, procedures, and processes for a successful implementation. Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals. Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, scope changes, dependencies, and critical path deliverables. Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs. Serve as primary point of contact for all project communication, both oral and written Set and manage appropriate expectations both internally and externally. Collaborate and work with cross functional teams effectively, with a focus on organizational goals. Participate and drive innovation towards process improvement. Assist with new employee onboarding and training program. Qualifications: Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands. Exceptional ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated organization and planning abilities. Strong skills with critical thinking, attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making capabilities. Knowledge and experience in clinic or hospital-based applications and workflows. Experience leading multiple large-scale and multifaceted projects. Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project team sizes, including internal and external resources. Demonstrated success in managing and delegating in a team-based environment. Experience working with different data types or formats (e.g., ANSI, HL7, XML, CSV, etc.). Education/Training/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. 5 years of related experience in the healthcare industry. 5 + years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects. Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. PMP Certification is preferred, but not required.
