Job Type:
Full-time (minimum 35 clients per week) | Part-time (minimum 15 clients per week) Required Qualifications: Current Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License in the State of Illinois Illinois Early Intervention (EI) Credential or actively in the process of obtaining (we can assist) Experience working with children birth to 3 years old, especially in:
Adaptive behavior and development Sensory, motor, and postural development Restorative and play-based approaches
Knowledge of Early Intervention standards and occupational therapy best practices Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one occupational therapy services to infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years old) in natural environments such as home or daycare Implement treatment plans and protocols designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Participate in monthly supervision meetings with the supervising Occupational Therapist Follow each childs Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), tracking and monitoring progress toward established developmental goals Provide family/caregiver education and support empowering families to carry over therapeutic strategies at home Maintain accurate documentation and update client records in compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and professional standards
