Job Description Description: Position Title : Shipping Associate Classification : Non-Exempt, Hourly Reports to : Shipping Manager The Shipping Associate is responsible for selecting product to fulfill customer invoices and packing the product for shipment. Works under general supervision, interacting with a Manager or Supervisor several times a day to receive guidance and feedback. Essential Functions 1. Assemble required boxes, cardboard, wooden, or plastic containers for outgoing shipments 2. Examine shipment contents and compare with records (packslip, invoices etc.) to verify accuracy and quality of shipments. 3. Ability to pull and fulfill customer invoices, scan devices on shipping station, and download Inventory Management System reports to check data. 4. Properly package product to fulfill customer satisfaction using work devices such as electronic scanners, hand tools, accurately label boxes. 5. Completes Lithium-Ion Certification Courses: Lithium Battery Safety and Shipping Lithium Battery 6. Comprehend and adhere to all Mannapov shipping policies and procedures including, US DOT, FAA, IATA. 7. Comprehends and packages/labels all shipments according to R2 Provision 6 (Tested for Full Functions, R2/Ready for Reuse, Tested for Key Functions, R2/Ready for Resale and/or Evaluated and Non-Functioning, R2/Ready for Repair and shipped correctly; preparation process is followed, and provides feedback for improvement of the process. 8. Communicate any issues to management that could result in process delays, safety issues, or anything else that would cause loss to the company or its associates. 9. Work closely with the other team members to ensure that daily goals are met or exceeded in keeping a steady flow of product moving through the department. 10. Follow all process and safety procedures and always utilize good judgment. 11. Maintain clean and organized work area. 12. Conform to all Mannapov policies and regulations. 13. Continually strive to improve work related skills and knowledge. 14. Perform additional responsibilities in assigned and/or other departments as necessary. Requirements: Competencies 1. Strong attention to detail. 2. Able to work well under pressure. 3. Results focused. 4. Problem Solving/Analysis. 5. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. 6. Teamwork Orientation. Conveys a professional and positive image and attitude representing core company values and goals. 7. Excellent time management and organizational skills. 8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel 9. Proficient in basic computer use as well as the ability to operate warehouse tools (ex. Barcode Scanner and printer) 10. Must be able to Read, Write and Speak English Supervisory Responsibility None. Work Environment This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, cell phones, and standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, stepladders, box cutters and tape dispensers. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds to a minimum height of 4 feet, Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Dexterity/Ability to utilize writing utensils (pen/pencil), calculators, small hand-held tools, manual razors and other
mechanical/electrical
equipment without assistance. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel None. Required Experience 1. High School diploma or GED required. 2. Prior experience with cell phone repair a plus. 3. Previous receiving experience working in a distribution, manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred. 4. Previous work experience with Mannapov preferred.
