Job Description This is a weekend only position.

Must be able to work Saturdays approximately 7am-2pm in O'Fallon area. Additional hours available on Sundays from approximately 9am-2/3pm in the St. Peters area.

Must have at minimum of High School experience in Soccer. Must have the ability and confidence to instruct and officiate 312-year-old Soccer.

Job Summary The

Soccer Instructors and Officials

are responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches.

The

Soccer Instructor

will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.

As an

Soccer Official

you will not only serve as the enforcer of the rules, but will be a culture cultivator, an impartial on-field coach, and an advocate for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

Responsibilities - Instructor Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills Assists with refereeing the game portion of the day Set up and break down field Responsibilities - Official Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills Set up and break down field Qualifications Excellent communication skills Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships Ability to work weekends (for the duration of the season) Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
