ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to other team members while providing superior guest service.
Has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with guests. Ability to freestyle dance and improvise with role. Engage and interact with guests. Act as a promoter for Ryse Nightclub, which includes but is not limited to, engaging guests in the Nightclub and bystanders and handing out promotional items. Dance and perform various shows in costuming. Learn an indefinite number of routines to perform. Present a neat, well-groomed professional appearance at all times in accordance with the Ladies and Gents of Ameristar appearance policy. Exercise reasonable care with costumes and report any damages. Perform other job related duties as requested. Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis) 6 months experience in a dance-type role and/or training. Previous experience with dance training in jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hip or related style of dance. Excellent customer service skills. Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Professional appearance and demeanor. Work varied shifts; including weekends and holidays. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through six months of on-the-job training or through related cashier or host experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.): Ability to obtain and maintain any required regulatory licenses. Must successfully pass background check Must be 21 years of age
