Job Description Salary: $21.00/hr Morrison Center is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP), to be based in South Berwick.
Morrison Center is hiring an additionalPart-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP)for 16 hours/week in a Shared Living Provider (SLO) home. This role includes assisting with transfers using a lift, hygiene, daily living tasks, and community outings using an accessible vehicle. The DSP will also support social engagement and help build fine and gross motor skills. Youll be working alongside another DSP to provide consistent, high-quality care.
Requirements of the Title of Position: HS Diploma or GED Required DSP Certification CPR/First Aid Certification Safety training such as Mandt, Safety Care, etc. Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Valid Maine Drivers license required and a clean driving record Experienced with transfers in and out of wheelchair, using a lift, and is comfortable working in someones private home with the Shared Living DSP who resides there as well.
Benefits of the Job: Pay: $21/hour 403(B) retirement plan with company contributions 16 hours a week Monday Thursday: 8am 12noon. Working in South Berwick
Responsibilities of the Title of Position: Serving as the second DSP to support shared living DSP with daily supports to the individual who resides in their private home. Community Integration Supports include supporting transitions to and from the community back home using accessible equipment. Support with all hygiene, transfers, and ADLs. The SLO Enhanced DSP will also engage with the individual for social and fine/gross motor skills as well.
