Job Description Salary: $23-28 Job Title: Crane Operator Position Summary: The Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials, equipment, and other heavy objects at construction sites, industrial facilities, warehouses, or other job locations. This role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, load charts, and company policies to ensure efficient and hazard-free operations. Key Responsibilities: Lift as directed Inspect crane and rigging equipment before use to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. Follow load charts and signals from riggers or signal persons to control crane movement. Determine load weights, lifting capacity, and crane stability for each job. Position loads accurately at designated locations. Perform basic crane maintenance, including lubrication and minor adjustments. Maintain accurate records of crane inspections, maintenance, and work performed. Adhere to OSHA, NCCCO, and company safety guidelines at all times. Communicate effectively with site supervisors, riggers, and other team members. Report any unsafe conditions, equipment defects, or incidents immediately.
