About the Role We are seeking a
Senior Software Engineer
with strong, production-level experience in
Python . You will design, develop, and maintain backend applications, services, and systems. This role involves close collaboration with product stakeholders, supporting internal teams, and engaging with customers to deliver well-structured, well-documented solutions that align with our mission and product goals.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain core services, APIs, and data workflows. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand product needs. Leverage product insights to guide architectural decisions. Create and maintain diagrams, documentation, and whiteboarding artifacts. Maintain and monitor infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) workflows. Apply security best practices, ensure comprehensive testing, and implement observability with tools like Datadog. Conduct detail-oriented code reviews focused on correctness, maintainability, and quality. Mentor junior engineers and set high standards for code quality and documentation.
Requirements
Proficiency in
Python
with proven production experience. Solid understanding of backend services, APIs, and modern web architecture. Familiarity with
diagramming/documentation
tools such as
Lucid . Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. Track record of delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. 3+ years of Software Engineer experience
Nice to Have
Experience or interest in
Go . Exposure to data processing or ML/AI workflows. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Compensation:
$150,000 to $175,000 annually, based on skills, experience, licensure, and certifications.
