Major Food Group is hiring a Lead Runner to join our team at Contessa Miami! RESPONSIBILITIES: Delivers food from kitchen and delivers to guests in an accurate and timely manner
Exhibit full knowledge of the menu and describe every dish and beverage clearly, noting all relevant allergy concerns and dietary restrictions for guests
Multitask between running food, bussing tables, assisting the chef polish and stock plates, supporting beverage (wine, liquor, coffee/tea) service, maintaining water levels, assisting guests, making coffee drinks, preparing bread baskets, checking guest restrooms, and all other duties that may be needed to enhance the guest experience calmly and seamlessly
Set tables appropriately to ensure guests have everything needed at each stage of service
Ensure expo and service station areas are organized and maintained
Maintains cleanliness of tables between courses and resets tables upon completion of meal
Assists front-of-house team with other duties as required or assigned
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 2 years working in a high volume, upscale restaurant preferred
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
