The
Medical Assistant
will report to our
Waltham, MA Boston IVF
facility and will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care. Schedule:
40 hours per week (5 days, 8-hour shifts). Shifts are scheduled during regular business hours, with occasional variability depending on operational needs. Team members are scheduled to work one weekend every four weeks on a rotating basis. Participation in the holiday rotation is required, including:
One major summer holiday One major winter holiday One minor summer holiday One minor winter holiday
*Specific holiday assignments may vary based on organizational updates. Essential Functions and Accountabilities: Assist Physicians with clinical procedures Follow proper protocols for all procedures Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol. Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms. Maintain clinical supplies inventory. Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories. Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and
reassurance/comfort

Academic Training: Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – required
Studies level: Certification Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
Position
Requirements/Experience: 6+ months’ experience as a Medical Assistant in a surgical setting Prior experience in women’s healthcare –
preferred Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
– required EMR experience
