Less than 10% Position Summary Global Enterprise Services (GES) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator to support enterprise-level Microsoft business applications, server infrastructure, database environments, and specialized medical systems at the Lovell Federal Health Care Center. This role emphasizes Microsoft Power BI, PowerApps, and SharePoint administration, while also performing core Windows Server administration, SQL Server database administration, and supporting healthcare applications such as Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of healthcare IT operations to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and support Microsoft Power BI, PowerApps, and SharePoint environments, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and user assistance. Design and develop Power BI dashboards, Excel reports, and analytics tools to enable data-driven decision-making. Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration, performance optimization, backup/recovery, and security. Write, modify, and optimize SQL queries for reporting, data analysis, and integration with business applications. Create, customize, and automate workflows using C#, PowerShell, SharePoint PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and .NET. Manage and maintain Windows Server systems, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and performance optimization. Support and maintain PACS and other healthcare-related applications, ensuring system interoperability and adherence to HIPAA and DoD standards. Perform regular system patching, updates, backups, and preventive maintenance in alignment with organizational IT policies. Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deploy new functionalities. Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and configuration records for all supported systems and applications. Provide Tier II/III technical support to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues efficiently. Required Qualifications Security+ CE (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification) required prior to start. Public Trust Tier 3 clearance (must be obtainable before start). U.S. Citizenship required. 2–3+ years of professional experience in system administration or related IT role. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, PowerApps, SharePoint, and Excel. Proficiency in SQL Server administration and SQL query development. Experience with C#, PowerShell, SharePoint PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and .NET. Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, including PACS and related applications.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. Experience in federal or healthcare IT environments. Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and reporting requirements in secure environments. Understanding of DoD compliance framework. Microsoft or SQL Server certifications (Power BI Data Analyst, Power Platform App Maker, SharePoint Administrator, SQL Server Database Administrator).

Work Environment This position offers a collaborative work culture with less than 10% travel. The role will be primarily on-site at FHCC in North Chicago, IL, supporting mission-critical systems that impact healthcare operations.
