Quality Control Supervisor – Manufacturing (Temporary) Location:

Temporary An established manufacturing company in the Westborough area is seeking a
Quality Control Supervisor
to lead its Incoming Inspection Department. This is a
temporary opportunity
ideal for professionals with a strong background in mechanical inspection and leadership in quality environments. Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day operations of the Incoming Inspection Department. Assign inspection priorities to meet internal material and production demands. Ensure strict adherence to established quality procedures and standards. Identify training needs and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for execution. Evaluate and improve inspection processes to enhance efficiency and quality. Identify and report nonconforming products for proper disposition. Maintain and report daily departmental metrics and documentation. Communicate equipment, tooling, and resource requirements to management. Enforce company policies and ensure compliance within the department. Perform hands-on inspections as needed to support production timelines. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a mechanical inspector in a manufacturing setting. Strong proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, and height gauges. Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance). Demonstrated experience with First Article Inspection procedures. Excellent record-keeping and high attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical fabrication and machining drawings. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience with employee training programs is preferred. Pay Rate
$24–$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
