We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to lead
Brownfield redevelopment projects
from initial site assessments to remediation, design, construction, and community redevelopment. In this role, you will work directly with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders to deliver projects that meet regulatory compliance, sustainability goals, and client expectations. This is an excellent opportunity for an environmental professional with strong
project management and remediation experience
who thrives in a client-facing, multidisciplinary team environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all phases of
Brownfield redevelopment projects , including Phase I & II site assessments, remediation, design, and construction. Advise clients and municipalities on
redevelopment incentives and funding opportunities . Ensure compliance with
federal, state, and local environmental regulations
(EPA, CERCLA, and state Brownfield programs). Collaborate with developers, local governments, community organizations, and environmental consultants. Prepare proposals, develop project budgets, track costs, and ensure projects are delivered
on time and within budget . Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactively. Lead multidisciplinary teams (engineers, scientists, planners, and contractors). Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project. Mentor junior staff and foster long-term client relationships. Support
business development activities
by identifying additional project scope and revenue opportunities. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in
Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering , or a related field. 5+ years of
project management experience . 10+ years of
Brownfield redevelopment and/or environmental remediation experience . Strong knowledge of
Phase I & II environmental site assessments, remediation technologies, and regulatory compliance frameworks . Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering successful projects. Preferred: Experience advising on
Brownfield redevelopment incentives . Proposal-writing and business development experience. Mentoring skills for junior staff. Financial management experience (budgets, cost tracking, collections). Work Schedule & Compensation Work Model:
Hybrid (2-3 days in-office per week, remaining remote) Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., with overtime as needed; some local travel required Salary:
$120,000 - $130,000 annually + up to 15% bonus Relocation:
