Job Description Description: The Training & Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist is responsible for
designing, developing, and delivering training programs
to support the adoption of Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure). This individual will ensure that employees and stakeholders not only receive the necessary knowledge but also effectively adopt new tools and processes in real-world environments.The role requires strong instructional design skills, facilitation expertise, and the ability to apply organizational change management principles to drive adoption. Project Management and Business Analysis capabilities are
preferred secondary skills
to help align training and adoption activities with business requirements and project timelines.
Key
ResponsibilitiesTraining
Development & Delivery Design and build instructor-led, e-learning, and hybrid training tailored to Microsoft solutions. Deliver hands-on training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to technical and business audiences. Develop supporting materials (user guides, quick reference cards, video tutorials). Adapt training programs based on learner feedback and adoption metrics. Adoption & Change Management Partner with leadership to develop change strategies that encourage adoption of Microsoft technologies. Conduct readiness and impact assessments to inform training and adoption plans. Serve as an advocate in the field, engaging directly with end users to drive confidence and sustained usage. Establish feedback loops to measure adoption effectiveness and continuously improve. Collaboration & Support Work with project managers and business analysts to align training with project milestones and requirements. Provide insights from the field back to technical teams to refine solutions. Support communication campaigns and stakeholder engagement to reinforce adoption. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Business, or related field. 5+ years in training design and delivery, ideally with Microsoft technologies. Experience applying OCM methodologies (Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, or similar). Excellent facilitation and communication skills with diverse audiences. Hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Azure. PMP, Prosci, or BA certification preferred (not required). Active or eligible Secret Clearance (preferred for government contracts). What We Offer Competitive salary: $100,000 - $110,000 based on a combination of skills and relevant experience. Location:
HyerTek is headquartered in Rockville, MD. The candidate must be based in the Washington, DC area and willing to come into the office up to three days per week.
