Position Overview Select Source Solutions is hiring a
Program Manager
to lead a cross-functional team delivering major data modernization and offshore wind development initiatives. This role involves managing projects that improve how data is organized, stored, accessed, and visualized—while guiding a diverse technical team responsible for implementing innovative solutions in geospatial systems, cloud infrastructure, software development, records management, and more. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, technical acumen, and the ability to connect business objectives with practical outcomes across multiple areas, from environmental data tracking to cloud transformation and cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities Program Management & Execution
Lead complex, high-impact projects focused on
offshore wind site data , environmental planning, seismic and geospatial data, and digital records.
Coordinate schedules, budgets, and deliverables across multiple project areas while aligning resources for optimal team performance.
Ensure deliverables support transparency, data accessibility, and operational efficiency.
Modernization & Innovation
Oversee the transition from analog systems to
AI-enhanced digital platforms
and
cloud environments .
Lead implementation of automated metadata tagging, machine learning for data classification, and AI-powered document search.
Support the move to scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-based services.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership
You will be responsible for overseeing a multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts (SMEs), including: Project Management Experts : Skilled in Agile/SAFe, risk dashboards, earned value tracking, and KPI-driven oversight.
Data Management & Archives Specialists : Proficient in SEGY formats, metadata validation, and platforms like Oracle APEX and Documentum.
Geological & Geophysical Data Analysts : Experienced in seismic survey data, geospatial integration tools like ArcGIS, and subsurface analysis.
GIS & Spatial Data Experts : Focused on ArcGIS Enterprise, cloud GIS (AWS Esri), and FGDC-compliant metadata standards.
Software Developers & Modernization Engineers : Skilled in React, NodeJS, Python, and cloud modernization strategies for legacy systems.
Records & Document Management Professionals : Focused on OCR automation, metadata workflows, and AI-driven classification tools.
Cybersecurity Specialists : Covering cloud and network security, compliance with NIST standards, Zero Trust principles, and secure DevOps pipelines.
Data Analytics & AI/ML Engineers : Delivering insights through PowerBI/Tableau dashboards, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.
Cloud Engineers : Managing hybrid/multi-cloud environments, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Network Engineers : Maintaining secure networking through VPN, Active Directory, and encryption protocols.
All team members operate with cross-cutting awareness of accessibility standards, privacy compliance, and collaboration tools such as Atlassian, SharePoint, and cloud-based productivity platforms. Stakeholder Coordination
Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Engage technical experts to support planning and operational calls related to
offshore wind ,
construction plans ,
environmental review , and
data reporting .
Organize documentation to support transparency requests and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, IT, Engineering, or Business (Master's preferred).
PMP certification required; additional certifications such as SAFe Agile, ITIL, or CSM are desirable.
Minimum
7 years of experience
in program or project management, including
3+ years managing technical teams and budgets >$5 million .
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams across multiple disciplines such as software development, data science, and GIS.
Familiarity with digital modernization, AI tools, cloud platforms, and data compliance practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
