Monday to Friday, 4:15 PM – 12:45 AM Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Industrial Chemist to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and experience working in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is responsible for performing chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure quality and compliance. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Evaluate the chemical and physical properties of various substances using analytical techniques Perform routine chemical analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in compliance with GMP standards Follow pre-established protocols and SOPs to carry out lab functions accurately Audit raw data, results, and laboratory documentation for accuracy and completeness Calculate, interpret, and review test results; prepare reports and maintain detailed lab notebooks Conduct Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations per SOPs to ensure data integrity Operate, maintain, calibrate, and qualify laboratory instruments in assigned areas Assist with method development and protocol execution with minimal supervision Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and company policies Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field 1–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or analytical lab setting Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred) Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, and IR Solid understanding of GMP regulations and quality systems
