Project Executive – Institutional Projects

Project Executive
to join our leadership team and oversee major institutional construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned Senior Project Manager or current PE with
extensive experience managing correctional, detention, or government facility builds . You’ll serve as the primary client point-of-contact, lead internal teams, and ensure successful delivery of complex, multi-million-dollar builds from preconstruction through closeout. Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of ground-up and large-scale institutional construction projects (especially
correctional/detention)
Serve as the strategic project leader, working directly with ownership groups, public entities, and internal stakeholders
Oversee all phases of construction, including precon, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site execution
Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams (PMs, Supers, APMs)
Review and manage contracts, financial reporting, risk management, and project deliverables
Ensure projects meet/exceed quality, budget, and schedule expectations
Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and trade partners
Qualifications:
10+ years of commercial construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Senior PM or Project Executive role
Proven experience delivering
correctional, detention, or institutional facilities
(county jails, state prisons, federal detention centers, etc.)
Strong preconstruction, budgeting, and team leadership skills
Experience managing projects $20M+ in value
Exceptional communication and client-facing abilities
Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project (or similar tools)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred
