Reporting to the Budget Division Manager, you will maintain spreadsheets, process journal entries, and assist staff. The work you do will support daily operations for the Budget Division. Essential Duties Complete tasks including preparing operating and capital budget documents, appropriation letters, and compiling data and statistics. Review purchase requests and payment vouchers, create and upload journal entries, and run reports in the financial management system. Assist staff with the budget process. Create, complete and maintain accurate reports, spreadsheets, surveys, and other documents. Develop a working understanding of the budget process. Perform routine data management within electronic information management systems. Communicate and collaborate with County agencies on routine budget-related matters. Research and compile accurate data. Ensure all work is complete and timely to support department goals. Evaluate feedback and procedures to improve efficiency. Exhibit integrity, ethics, and fiscal responsibility. Invite collaboration and seek learning opportunities. Proactively assist peers to create a supportive work environment. Additional Information May be required to work outside of standard hours. Must be able to focus in an open office environment with potential for noise.
