Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract. Based in Seattle, Washington, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to donor and funder management, grant administration, and event coordination. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, an ability to work with various databases, and a collaborative approach to supporting team goals. Responsibilities: Manage and optimize donor and funder databases, including Little Green Light, Airtable, and other automation tools, ensuring accurate data entry and timely gift acknowledgments. Streamline systems integration to enhance efficiency in tracking donor and funder information. Provide support in managing government and small grants, as well as major funder relationships, ensuring compliance and timely reporting. Conduct research on prospective grants and maintain detailed records to support funding strategies. Coordinate internal timelines and deliverables related to funder and donor engagement. Assist in planning and logistics for donor convenings, coaching sessions, and fundraising events, ensuring smooth execution. Support donor education and engagement by partnering with program leads and facilitators. Develop and implement policies and procedures for fundraising, donor relations, and grant administration. Contribute to the organization's expansion planning, focusing on future cohorts and funding opportunities. Requirements: Proven experience in administrative support, with a focus on donor and funder management. Proficiency in working with databases such as Airtable and Little Green Light. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Familiarity with grant administration processes and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with donors and team members. Ability to assist with event coordination and logistics. Knowledge of fundraising tools and strategies is preferred. A collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting team objectives.
