The
Columbus River Dragons
are seeking a
Game Presentation Intern
to join our Game Operations team for the 2025-26 season. This role is perfect for a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about live sports, entertainment, and enhancing the fan experience.
As a Game Presentation Intern, you will play a hands-on role in executing our in-game entertainment, assisting with sponsor activations, and ensuring the game day atmosphere at the Columbus Civic Center is engaging, professional, and on-brand. This is an
in-person internship
with the potential to earn school credit.
Responsibilities: Assist with programming and designing
in-game music playlists
to enhance energy and atmosphere. Create and edit
graphics, animations, and visuals
for the videoboard, ribbon boards, and fascia displays. Help ensure
theme nights
are consistent with the River Dragons' brand, from lighting effects to special graphics and music. Coordinate with the
sales team
on group outings, birthday shoutouts, and other fan callouts. Manage
sponsorship and partnership fulfillment , ensuring all in-game assets and activations are executed. Assist in
setting up concourse activations
and themed décor on special nights to enhance fan engagement. Prepare and execute
intermission contests and promotions , including props, scripts, and logistics. Support the
game day script and rundowns , ensuring all timing, cues, and elements are ready. Think quickly and creatively during live events to solve problems and improve the fan experience. Collaborate with the game presentation staff to bring
new, exciting ideas
to River Dragons games. Provide general support for
game operations and partnership activations
as needed. Qualifications:
Current college student (preferred fields: Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, Media Production, or related). Strong interest in live events, sports, and entertainment. Basic knowledge of
music editing, graphic design, or video production software
(Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar) is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a
fast-paced, live-event environment . Team-oriented with a proactive, positive attitude. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the hockey season. Prior experience in live production, sports, or event management is a plus, but not required. Additional Information:

Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, GA . School credit is available if arranged through your university. This is an unpaid opportunity but provides
hands-on experience in professional hockey , networking opportunities, and the chance to directly impact the River Dragons' fan experience.
