JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient facility. Delegate responsibility to facilities Team Members. Handle day-to-day guest complaints and Team Member disputes.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Knowledge of departmental Guest Service Standards. Knowledge of casino promotions. General cleaning of bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, emptying garbage, cleaning working areas, mopping and shampooing, polishing, cleaning ashtrays and cleaning glass. Monitor and ensure that safety standards are followed. Safely operate equipment. Ensure that all shift responsibilities and duties are completed. Supervise Team Members on assigned shift. Make suggestions for improvements to procedures and products used in the Facilities Department. Report to Facilities Manager, Assistant Manager or the Custodial Supervisor regarding any issues or problems that arise on assigned shift. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
Required skills and knowledge:
High school diploma or GED certificate. 2 years of experience in general cleaning and/or grounds care. 6 months supervisory experience. Ability to learn current occupational safety standards, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Intermediate computer skills. Pass NRWC pre-employment testing. Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays. Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License. Preferred skills and knowledge:
Knowledge of custodial program creation and implementation. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and/or move around continuously during the assigned shift. Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
