Summary:
Responsible for ensuring loans are processed in accordance with Federal Regulations and Bank policies. Ensures loan files are established and maintained with complete and accurate information for the purpose of processing payments and collecting fees owed to the Bank. Assists with routine customer inquiries regarding payoffs, change of ownership, note modifications, beneficiaries and other loan details.
Primary Accountabilities: Ensure completion of all loan processing tasks for commercial loans. Input information from loan applications and loan input sheets into processing system for processing documents. Request necessary information to assist lenders in making credit decisions on loans, including verifications, credit reports, appraisals, etc. Updates file as requested information is received. Interact with Loan Officers, customers and vendors to obtain all information necessary for processing and closing loans. Document renewals and modifications for all existing in house loans, including commercial and real estate loans. Coordinate with Loan Officers and customers for issuing closing documents. Communicates closing conditions to lenders and title companies. Prepare all necessary documents, funding entries, instruments, etc. for loan closing. Document file appropriately to facilitate completion of final documents and loan servicing. Perform a post-closing compliance review to ensure all documents are returned and executed correctly for the bank's lien/interest. Perfects collateral, including, but not limited to, UCC filings and continuations and lien placement on vehicles. Resolve problems as encountered, utilizing supervisor when needed or required. Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience:
Associates degree preferred but not required 1 - 2 years of banking experience required; familiarity with Fiserv a plus Minimum of 1 year experience in loan operations and/or documentation experience preferred Excellent attention to details Excellent oral and written communication skills required Excellent data processing and proofreading skills Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
