We are seeking an
experienced (5 years)
Legal Records Associate
to join our Records Department. This role is essential in supporting attorneys and staff by maintaining, organizing, and tracking critical firm documents and files. The position reports directly to the Records Manager and requires professionalism, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality service.

Pay Rate:
$27 - $28 per hour
Position Type:
Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full file lifecycle, from creation through destruction. Prepare, organize, and maintain files and documents in accordance with firm standards. File all incoming documents into the correct clips and in the correct order. Locate and deliver requested files and documents promptly. Coordinate the transfer of files to/from offices, file rooms, and off-site storage. Maintain attorney filing systems and assist with special projects as needed. Ensure file rooms and workstations remain neat and organized. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move standard file boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods while organizing and retrieving files. Qualifications: Minimum of
5 years of law firm records management experience
(required). Proficiency with
NetDocs
and
FileTrail
(required). Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work. Proficient in MS Office; ability to type at least 45 wpm. High school diploma required. Service Standards:
