Description
Willow Creek Community Church is an egalitarian non-denominational, multi-site church in and across Chicagoland passionate about helping people take next steps to love God, love people, and change the world.
As the part time IT Infrastructure and Support Specialist you will provide backup support to the Infrastructure Engineer and the Technical Support Specialist. In addition, you will ensure the IT department has clear documentation and reports in place in regards to our technology infrastructure and also assist in managing users and access for hardware, software and operating systems.
This position is 24 hours per week and the pay rate is around $25 - $30 per hour depending on experience and skill set. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a retirement savings plan, generous paid time off, parental leave, mental health counseling reimbursement, and more.
Job Responsibilities
Provide backup support to the Technical Support Specialist Create, maintain and manage user accounts for staff and volunteers for all of our supported systems and portals Support new and existing users with training and instruction as needed Monitor and provide timely response to help desk requests and coordinate with the IT team to assist with the resolution of help desk tickets Assist in providing ongoing support for all desktop, laptop, servers, printers and mobile devices and work with the IT team to resolve developing issues Troubleshoot and resolve conflicts and compatibility issues between hardware, software and network as needed Provide preventative maintenance for the hardware, operating systems and software including patches and upgrades as needed Deploy and setup computers, laptops, peripherals and install software as needed Provide backup support to the Infrastructure Engineer Staff Values:

Clear written communication and documentation skills Strong organizational skills Basic PC, Mac, ChromeOS, Mobile App knowledge and troubleshooting skills Basic networking and server knowledge Personal Characteristics:
Collaborative mindset Good interpersonal skills Strong Learning agility Team mentality Flexible and adaptable Current (or willing to become) regular attender of a Willow Creek church campus In alignment with Willow Creek's vision, mission, values and beliefs Education and Experience:
Prior technology support or customer service related work experience preferred Dante level 3 certification preferred High School Diploma or GED required Associate's degree or relevant IT certifications preferred
