Customer Service Representative 1
District 4 Public Health, Carrollton, GA Under direct supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations. All District 4 Public Health, County BOH employees are deemed essential employees in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event not limited to but including, staffing a shelter, a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and/or Point of Dispensing site (POD). When you are called on to participate, you are expected and it will be a part of your job requirement to participate, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours. Job Responsibilities
Provides quality customer service to all customers Answers inbound calls in a timely manner Makes appointments; follows up with missed appointments by calling client to reschedule Follows communication "scripts" when scheduling the appropriate appointment Identifies customers' needs, clarify information, provide solutions, refer programs/resources Handles all client inquiries Enters new client information into the system Updates existing client information Supports new program initiatives Able to adapt to changing policy and procedures Must abide by strict confidentiality requirements and all HIPPA guidelines Must be an active listener with strong phone and verbal communication skills Position requires employee to be detailed oriented; must be able to work efficiently and independently Self-starter. Fast paced work environment. Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively Candidate must be organized Assist with community-wide events Other administrative duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
Customer Service Representative 1: (Annual salary $33,000) High school diploma or GED AND six months of related experience handling customers' questions, complaints and/or providing information Preferred Qualifications
Public Health experience Bilingual
