Mailroom & Print Services Specialist Indianapolis, IN 46250 3+ months contract M-F 8:00AM - 5:00PM This role supports mailroom, print, and building support services at a Kroger location. Responsibilities include receiving and delivering mail, operating high-volume print and imaging equipment, maintaining office machines, and preparing shipments. The position requires physical activity and basic PC tasks related to document handling.
Responsibilities
Receive, scan, sort, and distribute incoming mail/faxes; pick up and prepare outgoing shipments Operate high-volume copy and imaging equipment; perform binding, cutting, folding, booklet-making, and kitting Maintain copier areas: stock paper, clear jams, perform inspections, and report issues Use scanning software and MS Office to open, save, transfer, and name digital files Perform print shop tasks and deliver completed jobs on-site and between buildings Assist with office supply distribution and inventory Provide basic copier maintenance and minor building support (meeting room setup, light cleaning, etc.) Use equipment such as postage meters, joggers, shrink-wrap machines, hydraulic cutters, and bindery tools Track usage logs, billing records, and service calls Occasional overtime and lifting up to 55 lbs may be required Requirements
High school diploma or GED 1-2 years of experience in mailroom, print, or related services preferred Basic PC proficiency, including file management and email use Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and follow established protocols Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 55 lbs Valid driver's license may be required
