Accounting Specialist
Currently seeking an Accounting Specialist for a full-time permanent position in Attleboro Falls, MA. Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist: Processing weekly payroll using ADP Maintaining payroll records, updating the HRIS system Processing A/P and A/R Creates invoices according to company practices Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions. Performs daily cash management duties, including recording of bank deposits, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger. Track and maintain company benefits including health and dental insurance, vacation and holiday pay. Performs month-end closing Processes renewal of business licenses Maintains company car registrations and dealer license plates including processing annual renewals. Assists with planning, coordinating and set-up of company events. Answers, screens, and directs incoming telephone calls as needed. Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopies, typing, and mailing as needed. Other related duties as assigned by management Requirements of the Accounting Specialist: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong skills required: MS Office, Payroll software such as ADP, and some Accounting Software knowledge preferred Superior attention to detail Good problem solving skills and organizational skills Shows initiative and able to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to multi-task and prioritize Hours: 7:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-11:00am Friday Pay Rate: $65,000-$75,000/year It is the policy of The Alpha Group, Inc.
