Job Position: Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift
Location: Carrollton, TX 75006
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00
Shift: 2nd - Mon-Fri 12:00pm to 8:30pm
Description: Stride Staffing has a client in the precision metals industry who is seeking a forklift operator with experience in the metals industry with the ability to moves, stores, and distributes metal goods and cargo using forklifts and other machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience moving large sheets of metal and rods that could be 30-40 ft in length.

Responsibilities:
Operating a sit-down forklift Ensuring proper stock rotation Moving large pieces of metal Reporting quality variances Keeping records and reports Keeping inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean Signaling machine operators to move materials Learning and adhering to workplace safety regulations Skills and qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in all weather conditions Experience with metal sorting, moving, receiving and stocking Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to perform basic math Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships Efficient individual with excellent time management skills
