Seeking responsible, motivated individuals to join our Prepared Food Counter Service Team.
Cantoro Prepared Food Department is a high volume gourmet prepared foods counter offering made from scratch authentic Italian cuisine made fresh daily. Our culture is rooted deeply in customer service and providing an exceptional shopping and dining experience to all of our guests. We believe our counter service is our sales force.
1 year food retail service/restaurant experience is preferred. Candidate must be presentable, reliable, have good communication skills and demonstrate a high degree of drive and determination. Knowledge of Health Department regulations for proper handling of foods preferred. Depending on experience, pay rate can be negotiated.
Responsibilities Anticipate and deliver exceptional service consistently. Must keep prepared food case presentation impeccable. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Compensation / Benefits:

Requirements
Minimum 18 years of age. Knowledge of Italian Cuisine and experience with kitchen culture preferred. Knowledge of food preparation, storage/handling. Have open availability (Counter shifts are 12pm-8:30pm) Stand on feet for 8 hours, lifting and bending Be able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency Requires ability to lift 25 pounds frequently. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON THE WEEKENDS.
