Job Summary: The Customer Care Representative plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to patients and healthcare clients. This role is responsible for managing routine health-related inquiries across multiple communication channels such as phone, email, chat, and AI platforms. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about maintaining patient confidentiality while helping to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound and outbound health-related customer service inquiries Respond via voice, email, chat, and automation channels using set scripts and procedures Deliver courteous and empathetic communication when discussing sensitive health information Maintain complete confidentiality of patient data in compliance with all health and privacy guidelines Assist in reporting test results and resolving questions related to tests and services Identify and escalate service failures or customer concerns as needed Support assigned client groups according to evolving business needs Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up on all communications Embrace continuous improvement in processes and digital tools Make and accept calls while multi-tasking efficiently Participate in all scheduled work shifts with punctuality and consistency Required Experience:

1 year of related customer service experience Nice-to-Have Experience:

Experience in healthcare or laboratory environments Background in digital-first or omnichannel customer support Familiarity with customer satisfaction metrics and service-level goals Required Skills:

Customer service excellence Verbal and written communication Multichannel support (phone/email/chat) Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel Experience with chat platforms and AI tools Strong multitasking and organization Ability to handle sensitive medical information with empathy Continuous improvement mindset Additional Skills:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to sit for extended periods Comfortable walking up/down stairs Efficient typing and email communication Outbound and inbound call management
