A portfolio of contemporary men's and women's brands is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative
Assistant Designer
to join their outerwear division. The ideal candidate is passionate about outerwear, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will support the design team with sketching, color-ups, and CADs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Maintain and organize seasonal line sheets, inspiration boards, and design archives. Assist in managing samples - request, track, and organize proto and SMS samples. Create, update, and distribute tech packs, including detailed sketches and bill of materials. Manage lab dip requests, coordinate comments, and track development update.
In the office full time RESPONSIBLITIES
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 1-2 years of internship or entry-level design experience; outerwear experience strongly preferred Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop A sharp eye for detail, color, proportion, and design trends Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong communication and time management skills Solid technical design skills and familiarity with garment construction
