We are seeking an experienced
Enterprise Business Architect
to join our Applications & Software Development team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep experience in
enterprise-level business transformation, Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA), and integrated eligibility systems .
As a
Business Analyst 3 , you will provide thought leadership in enterprise architecture, drive business process reengineering, and lead transformation initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. Key Responsibilities
Lead or contribute to
large-scale digital transformation and business process reengineering projects , ensuring measurable improvements in operational outcomes. Apply expertise in
MITA frameworks , including
State Self-Assessments (SS-A) , within complex system environments. Develop and manage
enterprise business models
using methodologies such as
BPMN, UML, ArchiMate , with a strong grasp of enterprise architecture frameworks like
TOGAF . Partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to define business needs, requirements, and process enhancements. Provide
clear communication and presentations
to executives and cross-functional teams, articulating complex issues in a persuasive and approachable way. Facilitate workshops, negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts to ensure alignment across diverse groups. Support transformation initiatives within
government or public sector environments , particularly
Health and Human Services (HHS) programs
such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, and CHIP. Minimum Qualifications Must be located within 50 miles of Austin, Texas city limits.
No relocation assistance is provided, and this requirement is

progressive experience in a
Business Architect/Analyst
role with enterprise-level initiatives. Proven success in
leading large-scale business transformations . Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with
MITA . 10+ years
of expertise in business modeling (BPMN, UML, ArchiMate) and enterprise frameworks (TOGAF). Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Bachelor's degree
in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or related field ( Master's preferred ). Preferred Qualifications Direct hands-on experience with
HHS integrated eligibility systems . Prior experience in
government or public sector projects . Relevant certifications such as
CBAP, TOGAF, BPMN, Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) . Familiarity with
Agile and SAFe
methodologies.
