Position: Restaurant Server Assistant- Part Time
Reports to: Food & Beverage Supervisor and Banquets & Outlets Manager
Job Purpose: Responsible for providing excellent service to guest(s) in a courteous manner to exceed their dining expectations.
Job Summary: The Restaurant Busser is responsible for maintaining the dining area; clearing and resetting tables and taking dishes to the kitchen area.
Wage: $10 an hour + tips
Duties
Provide welcoming atmosphere to guest. Be courteous, friendly, and helpful to fellow employees, vendors, and guests. Stocks bus stations, cleans glassware, and refills drinks. Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process. Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to guest spills or other special needs. Welcomes guests by exchanging pleasantries; escorting them to assigned dining area; presenting menus; announcing waitperson's name. Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies. Helps dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Responsibilities will include bussing, hosting, food running, and helping with to-go orders. Qualifications
Works collaboratively to achieve team goals. Ability to identify and fulfill guests current and future needs. Projects a professional and polished image that welcomes guests. Must be able to effectively listen and communicate both verbally and written, with both employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. Conflict resolution to overcome obstacles in a fast pace environment. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Position is available for 14-15 year olds Physical Requirements
Lift up to 20 lbs., stand and/or walk for long periods
