Pay & Shifts:
1st Shift: $17.50/hr | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 2nd Shift: $18.50/hr | Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM The Forklift Operator I is responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role requires safe and efficient operation of sit-down and/or clamp forklifts and may include order filler or order checker duties.
Essential Duties:
Stack and store merchandise using forklifts, clamp, or push-pull equipment Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy Perform picking duties to meet customer service standards Move product from staging/storage areas into trailers Maintain records and reports for inventory control Assist in physical inventories, cycle counts, and stock rotation Use RF scanning equipment and Excel to ensure inventory accuracy Follow safety procedures and report concerns promptly Mandatory Skills & Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED preferred At least 3 months forklift experience or experience with warehouse distribution equipment Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours and lift/pull 50 lbs regularly Regular bending, stretching, reaching, and walking throughout the facility Comfortable working in variable noise, lighting, and temperature conditions Willingness to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to obtain NFI forklift certification Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and excellent customer service
