Lakeside Book Company is looking to fill several
Temp-to-Hire
Cherry Picker Operators to join our Plainfield team. In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated team, ensuring that products are picked, stowed, and moved to their proper locations, while maintaining a safe working environment. Pay, Shift, Location, & Job Type
Pay:
$18.75/hr, plus $2.50/hr shift differential
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm, with overtime as needed
Location:
700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168
Job Type:
Temp-to-hire: eligible for full time, permanent, status change following your 90-day probationary performance review.
Responsibilities Operate cherry picker and other lifting equipment to safely move materials within the warehouse. Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure they are in safe working order. Assist in the organization and maintenance of warehouse inventory. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and material handling. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly. Requirements
Minimum of 6 months experience as a cherry picker operator, or in a similar role is required. Comfortable with heights of 20+ feet. Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a warehouse environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50lbs throughout your shift. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. What we offer you:
