Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst / Data Architect for a Contract with a client located in Chicago, IL. Strong hands-on experience with enterprise loyalty platforms (e.g., Salesforce Loyalty, Oracle Loyalty Cloud, Comarch, SessionM, Annex Cloud, Kobie, etc.), Kafka, AWS/Azure, and data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, Lucidchart, dbt, ERwin) is preferred.
Rate Range: 65-70/hr (the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst / Data Architect to support our Loyalty Systems. This role involves deep technical engagement with internal systems, data architecture, and collaboration with business teams to drive data integration and system enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and build internal components within Loyalty Systems.
- Perform data merging and integration across Loyalty platforms.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Identify and define the types of data and information that can be built into systems and databases.
- Dive deep into system databases to understand table structures and relationships.
- Design and document system connections and data flows.
- Schedule and manage time effectively to meet business needs.
Role Split
- Data Analyst: 75%
- Data Architect: 25%
Top Skills Required
- Strong technical expertise in data and system architecture.
- Experience working on cross-functional projects.
- Ability to approach problems from both a Data Architect and Business Analyst perspective.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Tools & Technologies
- Databases: SQL, SQL Server
- Messaging & Streaming: Kafka
- Data Warehousing: Snowflake
- Data Orchestration & ETL Tools: Experience with tools like dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Talend for data orchestration
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field required and 6+ years of experience in business analysis and data architecture roles.
