SEA is seeking to add a dynamic and experienced attorney to SEA’s mobile commercial and contracts management legal team. Reporting to the Principal Legal Counsel, Mobile Commercial & Contracts Management, you will serve as a role model for the company’s values and culture with a practical, results-oriented approach. You should provide trusted advice and counsel, take a proactive approach to legal matters, and help solve problems. You will combine your legal expertise with substantial experience in mobile sales, marketing, and transactions, including e-commerce, to provide sound legal advice and practical solutions on a wide range of commercial and contractual matters affecting SEA’s mobile business. Your primary responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, assessing risks, and guiding on laws and regulations. In this role, you will: Partner closely with internal stakeholders, including mobile product and sales teams, and other legal department peers to support commercial objectives while managing risks to the company. Work with Samsung’s legal team, business leaders, and other stakeholders to manage complex commercial matters. Review packaging, warranties, user interfaces, end-user license agreements, and other terms and conditions of service. Identify legal and regulatory issues associated with digital sales channels and the launches of new technologies in the mobile space. Collaborate with other Mobile Commercial and Contract Management team members to advise on business matters. Participate in cross-functional teams to provide legal support on product launches, regulatory matters, and other initiatives. Proactively identify emerging legal and regulatory risks for the business team. Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, policies, and legal operations related to commercial transactions. Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an Accredited US Law School with 5-7 years of legal practice experience Member in good standing of one US State Bar, with ability to become a member in good standing of the NJ or TX bar, or qualify as in-house counsel in NJ or TX Experience providing legal support to Mobile retail, B2B sales, marketing teams, or to ecommerce B2C teams Experience partnering with business teams to draft, negotiate, and revise sophisticated transaction terms Experience identifying privacy, consumer, transactional, and regulatory issues and coordinating with stakeholders to assess and manage risks Ability to present complex legal, business, and technical matters clearly in writing, emails, reports, or orally to audiences with high technical skills Ability to direct outside counsel cost-effectively, define desired results, provide direction, and measure performance #LI-KR1 Life at Samsung and Benefits

NEW JERSEY STATE ONLY The salary range for this role is expected to be between $225,000 and $235,000. Actual pay will be determined by relevant skills and experience and comparison to others in the role.
