Summary
Trinity College Community Child Center is seeking a qualified, full-time Infant Teacher to join our dynamic team of Early Childhood Educators. Each classroom has a team of three teachers, one full-time lead Teacher and two full-time Teacher Assistants, working with 8 children to provide a curriculum that both nurtures and stimulates a child's development. We are located on the beautiful Trinity College campus and our children join us from the Trinity community, Hartford, and outlying towns.

Duties
Curriculum and Assessment
- Facilitate and take the lead in developing, completing and submitting weekly developmentally-appropriate Learning Experience Plans
- Ensure children develop sound health and nutritional habits in daily routines through curriculum and modeling.
- Maintain stimulating and safe classroom and playground environments.
Child Interaction/Communication
- Establish a nurturing relationship with each child and serve as a positive role model.
- Address children's behavioral issues in a calm, professional and developmentally appropriate manner using positive guidance and problem solving.
Team Interaction Communication
- Establish and maintain a high functioning classroom team.
- Demonstrate and maintain a positive attitude and establish good working relationships and effective communication with the classroom team, other classroom teams, and with the Administrative Team.
Family Interaction Engagement
- Provide helpful and respectful information about child-specific activities, progress and concerns.

Requirements
Education, Training Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
- OEC Ladder level 10+.
- Must be at least 20 years of age.
- Must have at least one year's experience working with young children.
