This position is Hybrid with 3 days in office.
The Business Analyst is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- IT Strategy & Planning: Provide business and system analysis, develop functional specifications, resolve application issues, and support new software implementations.
- User Experience Analysis: Create project documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and support testing/reporting within an agile framework.
- Requirements Elicitation & Definition: Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, develop technical, functional, and reporting requirements, and collaborate with developers and QA.
- Quality Assurance: Coordinate project tasks, support testing of new features, and act as liaison between IT and business teams.
- Project Analysis: Conduct analysis into project issues, manage shifting priorities, and clearly communicate risks and solutions.
- Tracking & Reporting: Maintain documentation including issue/risk logs, status reports, and assist in leading small project teams.
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years' experience with systems, SDLC, and requirements gathering.
- Previous Business Analyst experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucid).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in agile frameworks (epic, feature, story creation).
- Experience working with project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- PMI-PBA, CBAP, or CAPM certification.
- Agile certifications (CSM or AAC).
- Experience in the building or construction industry.
