Position Summary This position is pivotal, acting as a bridge between stakeholders to extract, scrutinize, convey, and affirm requirements that improve business processes, core systems and automation solutions. Additionally, this role will assess and improve organization readiness for adoption of new processes and solutions, including team training sessions. This position is tasked with crafting and overseeing project plans aimed at substantial enhancements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Page 2 Analysis and Solutions • Consult with and provide guidance to stakeholders; review, analyze, and develop cost effective and efficient solutions in line with their requirements. • Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop and or modify and test solutions. • Develop and maintain business process and system documentation and workflows in support of process improvement activities enabled by information technology. • Assist users in performing financial and operational analysis of business processes and technology. • Serve as the subject matter expert with respect to core system configuration, customization and usage, maximizing end user adoption. • Design, develop and modify custom database queries and reports as needed in support of operational performance analysis. • Formulate organizational readiness initiatives to parallel overall business strategies, coordinating with departmental training resources to increase learning and adoption and locate or develop content for delivery by the respective teams - with emphasis on sourcing and deploying readily available content where possible vs developing custom content. • Serve as an advocate, process owner and system administrator for a knowledge management and delivery framework to enable rapid deployment of training programs, reuse through time and a closed loop, continuous process improvement model. • Formulate alternative system solutions to meet overall business and technical objectives. • Consult with solution architects and developers on application design, development, testing and implementation. • Prepare, deliver, and facilitate communication from the contact center to the boardroom, across all business units. • Maintain the technical depth and breadth required to guide process, solutions and best practice. • Employ the low-code / no-code Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring proper governance and extending process automation and improvement tools to business units. Relentlessly encourage and pursue lean operations, continuous improvement, and automation. • Encourage the adoption of Microsoft 365. Program Management • Lead significant information system projects - in terms of complexity, cost, time-constraints, internal and external staffing, and equipment including software and hardware. • Actively pursue project issue identification & resolution. • Formalize intake, business analysis, requirements definition and develop financial analyses of benefits and costs to ensure investments are commensurate with the value derived. Incorporate non-financial value (risk mitigation, compliance, customer satisfaction, quality, obsolescence, etc.) into program analyses and objectives. Page 3 • As a primary liaison to the IT Steering Committee, establish relative priorities and schedules based on their business value and in a manner that mitigates business and system risk. Ensure effective resource planning, portfolio and project governance, project charter/requirements analysis, prioritization, status reporting, and organizational readiness and adoption. • Ensure proper information system governance and control, including definition of detailed requirements and test criteria, segregation of duties, security requirements, rigorous testing and change management. • Encourage and advocate for the cultural and functional changes necessary to enable modern agile and SecDevOps practices and platforms. • Contribute to leading information system OKRs, KPIs, & metrics. • Identify major risk factors and implement appropriate practices to mitigate and remediate project, process, and system risks. • Develop and manage to project objectives and resulting budgets and schedules. Experience and Education • Self-directed with a high level of reasoning and problem-solving ability related to information structure/analysis, data modeling and process improvement. • Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, engineering or related curriculum and at least five years directly related experience, including enterprise scale assignments. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, directly related experience and certification beyond minimums will be considered. • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles including: implementations, upgrades, change management, business process improvement and development. • General knowledge of reporting and analytics platforms. • Experience should include demonstrated ability and temperment to facilitate and lead group planning, design and process improvement sessions. • Expertise and certification in program / project management, six sigma, lean process improvements, process mapping / analysis or similar programs desirable. • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, Visio and process mapping and design tools. • Data modeling and process design experience is desirable. • Exhibits an information-based, decision-making mindset, strong analytical and technical capabilities. • Adept at stakeholder communications from the contact center to the boardroom. • Experience with cloud applications and environments desired. • General knowledge of IT governance and compliance controls and procedures, and of frameworks like COBIT, SOC and NIST. • Ability to clearly articulate a vision, enroll others in the strategy, and lead teams via influence through ambiguity and complexity to a new way of working and to support program, process, and organizational improvements across the organization.
